Immagicando is a cultural association that deals mainly with young people to promote sustainable ways of living, feelings of community; it aims to empower people, to promote well-being of the persons and of the communities trough active citizenship, intercultural learning, art expression, street performances, contemporary theatre, local ethnic music and dances.
AIMS

to contribute to the well-being of people and local communities through the promotion of Arts, Creativity, fostering participation, social and ecological values to promote Sustainable Living;

to promote opportunities aimed at enhancing communication between people with a view to favour relationships and interdependence;

to spread about knowledge on music, dance and contemporary theatre as forms of expression through which enacting processes of self consciousness and the cognition of different cultures and social issues;

to promote social identities through music, songs, ethnic dances as opportunities to experience feelings of community;

to promote holistic concept of well-being through supporting pluralism and minorities;

to stimulate intercultural dialogue aiming to avoid gender, religious, ethnic, social physical and mental discrimination and to help setting conditions for people to achieve personal and social well-being through dialogue, learning by doing, informal meetings, intercultural parties;

to promote democratic participation and active citizenship in the social, cultural and political life at both the local and global levels;

to promote street performances as a way to make accessible to everyone, to the "street" people, art making and social expression;

to promote the culture of “Spontaneous Clowning ” with joyful and multicoloured music performances; to support the imagination , creativity and the art of “Surprise”;

to promote Sustainable Tourism; to support the preservation of human and ecological landscapes and environments; to ideate itineraries following local and ecological thinking according to the knowledge of local communities;

to promote the culture of Travelling with the purpose of spread both people knowledge and awareness of local cultures;

to support the adoption of ecological friendly and landscape sensitive Clean Energy;

to promote Human Development that is alternative to the philosophy of world trade and economic neoliberalism, and that integrates the need for human welfare with enduring and peaceful human relationships;

to promote training and education about environment issues to improve an ecological counsciousness;

to promote photography and video-making to spread information, and art expression trough documentaries and short movies;

to support the wide use of the Internet including independent webpublishing as a tool to share informations worldwide and to improve democracy;

through non-formal education;
